Where did we strike on March 15?

On March 15, 150,000 of us joined the #ClimateStrike in 64 locations across Australia. In addition to the locations listed below, we now have strikers in almost every Federal Electorate across Australia. Checkout the breakdown of our strike locations on March 15 below.


Every Capital City: 8 locations

Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Hobart, Adelaide, Perth, Darwin.


Regional Queensland: 15 locations

North: Atherton (KAP), Cairns (LNP), Mossman (LNP)

Central: Bundaberg (LNP), Mackay (LNP), Rockhampton (LNP), Toowoomba (LNP), Townsville (LNP), the Whitsundays (LNP), Yeppoon (NAT).

South-East: Beaudesert (LNP), Bundaberg (LNP), Gold Coast (LNP), Hervey Bay (LNP), Kingaroy (LNP), Sunshine Coast (LNP).

Breakdown of electorates by party: 85% LNP | 5% NAT | 5% KAP


Regional NSW: 26 locations

North of Sydney: Byron Bay (NAT), Bellingen (NAT), Coffs Harbour (NAT), Grafton (NAT), Gosford (NAT), Lismore (NAT), Murwillumbah (NAT), Newcastle (ALP), Port Macquarie (NAT).

West of Sydney: Armidale (NAT), Coonabarabran (NAT), Glen Innes (NAT), Gunnedah (NAT), Inverell (NAT), Orange (NAT), Springwood (ALP), Tamworth (NAT).

South of Sydney: Bega (ALP), Bowral (ALP), Jindabyne (ALP), Moruya (LIB), Narooma (ALP), Nowra (LIB), Ulladulla (LIB), Wollongong (ALP).

Breakdown of electorates by party: 60% NAT | 25% ALP | 15% LIB


Regional VIC: 8 locations
